Tchai Ovna were one of the first tea specialists in Scotland. They ethically source, curate and blend some of the finest teas in the world and we have managed to bring  some to Ayrshire!

All teas are loose as this does the craft of producing the teas the most justice in terms of taste and experience and come packaged in in re-sealable kraft pouches.

Honeybush (100g) - Honeybush is a little-known South African herb not too dissimilar to Rooibos (Redbush). This roasted variety effuses a sublime honey-like sweetness. A great tea with sugar substitute! A firm staff favourite!

Fairies Blood (100g) - A blended herbal recipe tea which is fruity, minty and naturally sweet in flavour. Freshly squeezed from the fairies at the bottom of the garden, this rich blood-red concoction is full of magical goodness from the fairies’ diet of strawberries, kiwi, mint, camomile, raspberry flowers and honey.

Earl Grey (100g) - The first sip of this tea will send your head to the gardens of Babylon. With a well blended body and a natural refreshing bergamot flavour. This tea is based on a fine blend of Darjeeling and Assam BOPs

Gunpowder Green Temple of Heaven (100g) - It is so called as the dry tea leaves are rolled into tight balls (zhu cha), so consequently resemble gunpowder. One of the most popularly consumed Chinese green teas,  it has a wonderfully strong, yet not overpowering aroma and a gentle astringent taste with rice-like undertones.

Yogi Yogi Chai (100g) - Is based on the North Indian chai masala, and is inspired by the Yogi masters’ belief that the entire cosmos is situated in the body. This rich, sweet, spicy, tea is blended using fresh spices, including black tea, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and ginger though the legendary recipe of this mystic beverage remains in the sole domain of the Tchai-Ovna masters. Best enjoyed with milk and demerara sugar or honey.

Peppermint (100g) - It not only tastes great, but is good for promoting alertness and clarity. Medically it is an anti-spasmodic, carminative, antiemetic, and diaphoretic. In other words, it can be used to alleviate bowel pains, indigestion and wind.

Golden Flowering of Healing (100g) - Is a fine blend of lavender, chamomile and raspberry. This is good for a variety of ailments such as sore heads, stomachs, nausea and insomnia. Even more delicious with some honey!

Nettle (100g) - It has been used through history as a detoxifier for the blood system, removing unwanted impurities. It also helps with lowering blood sugar and improving digestion and relieving pain.
